NYCAHN is the nation’s only membership organization led by low-income people living with HIV/AIDS, working in a unique coalition with the agencies that serve them, and is dedicated to addressing the root causes of the epidemic through community organizing and direct action. By focusing on campaigns that achieve concrete change, backed by a radical analysis of the structural drivers of the HIV/AIDS crisis, NYCAHN has passed landmark legislation and forced dramatic improvements to the housing, welfare and healthcare system in New York.
