PODER is a grassroots organization in San Francisco’s Mission District. We organize with Latino immigrant families to come together to work on solutions to issues facing low income communities and communities of color. We believe that improvements to our urban environment must be made through environmental and economic justice. PODER is committed to community organizing, grassroots advocacy and alliance building as the primary strategies in creating systemic social change and advancing environmental and economic justice.
