Stop Evictions: Join the fight for Good Cause now!

Rents are rising everywhere. We're facing record-level inflation. Landlords are price gouging tenants AND filing evictions that were temporarily paused during the pandemic. Evictions disproportionately impact working class Black, Indigenous, and people of color communities the most — especially Black women. Working families are struggling to put food on our tables and stay in our homes.

And we have few protections to defend ourselves against price gouging rent hikes, retaliatory landlords, and facing the violence of evictions.
That's why we need protections at national, state, and local levels to stay in our homes, build safe and stable communities AND fight to defend our homes against eviction. Good Cause eviction protections would do just that.

From New York to Chicago to California, Right to the City Alliance members are fighting statewide Good Cause eviction campaigns. But we need to build the pressure on our elected leaders at a national level too. Will you join tenants across the country to protect working families from eviction today?
